Making its debut at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motor1.com\/news\/770188\/2025-munich-motor-show-timing-details-debuts\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22770188%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%222025-munich-motor-show-timing-details-debuts%22%7D\">the Munich Motor Show (IAA)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motor1.com\/news\/770948\/bmw-ix3-teaser-video-instagram\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22770948%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22bmw-ix3-teaser-video-instagram%22%7D\">the 2026 BMW iX3<\/a> is the first to ride on the company&#8217;s&nbsp;Neue Klasse platform for dedicated EVs. It promises Tesla-beating efficiency, charging speeds as fast as any EV in the US, and a new approach to integrating all the vehicle&#8217;s dynamic systems.<\/p>\n<p>In fewer words, it promises great things.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The iX3 will be the first of many Neue Klasse EVs, with an electric version of the 3 Series sedan to follow. BMW is betting the farm on this platform, pushing hard into electric cars as other automakers scale back their EV ambitions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our colleagues at&nbsp;<em>InsideEVs&nbsp;<\/em>drove a prototype of an iX3 and <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/reviews\/762386\/bmw-ix3-prototype-drive-test\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">came away very impressed<\/a>, especially with its targeted 400-mile range and 400-kilowatt charging capability. So our expectations are very high. Made even higher by the fact that the&nbsp;&#8220;Neue Klasse&#8221; name is a revival for BMW.
